What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and allows web readers to easily track recent updates to a website.

To use RSS for LearningMatters.tv or any other website, you must first install a RSS reader–they’re free and easy to download.  There are dozens to choose from, but we recommend the following:

Netvibeshttp://www.netvibes.com

Bloglineshttp://www.bloglines.com

PageFlakeshttp://www.pageflakes.com

SharpReader (for PCs):  http://www.sharpreader.net

Shrook (for Macs):  http://www.utsire.com/shrook

Once you have chosen and downloaded a reader, you can subscribe to receive RSS feeds from LearningMatters.tv or any site that provides this service. Then your RSS reader will show the latest updates to the sites you subscribe to.

Subscribing to Learning Matters’ RSS feeds will let you know when we put up a new program, podcast, or article.  Signing up for our weekly updates will keep you informed on even more. Aside from visiting the website regularly, we recommend both of these features to stay updated on Learning Matters news.
