Reporting on Michelle Rhee

Learning Matters began following Michelle Rhee shortly after she assumed her role as Chancellor of the Washington, DC public school system in 2007. This ongoing coverage, spanning from 2007-2010, became an award-winning 12-part series for PBS NewsHour. This series was followed by The Education of Michelle Rhee, an hour-long Frontline documentary, in January 2013.

Since then, John Merrow has continued reporting on Rhee on his blog, Taking Note. These articles, focusing on standardized test cheating during Rhee's time as Chancellor, can be found here.
