When schools in Hartford, Connecticut started making sweeping changes two years ago, Marc Porter Magee took note. Through ConnCAN, a statewide education advocacy group, Marc has seen a lot of reform efforts in action but Hartford’s strategy, which has already raised test scores, stands out.
