( Click here to download the podcast )

“No administration should be in the business of setting policy. The Secretary of Education is not the nation’s superintendent. He’s a cabinet secretary.” Congressman John Kline of Minnesota believes the Secretary is overstepping his boundaries by requiring that states adopt specific reforms in order to receive Race to the Top funding or a waiver from No Child Left Behind. John Merrow’s full interview with Congressman Kline is here.
