Bob Wise served as Governor of West Virginia from 2001 to 2005; currently, he’s the President of the Alliance for Excellent Education. In late 2011, he joined Learning Matters web producer Ted Bauer for a discussion on how a state sets an education agenda, the challenges of being a Governor as relate to education policy, and some of the new initiatives — especially regarding digital literacy — that the Alliance is undertaking.
