Rising unemployment, home foreclosures and more people on food stamps are only the most obvious signs that the recession rages on. In these tough times public schools are feeling the pinch too. To find how they’re coping we visited 2 elementary schools in hard hit Arizona, which ranks 50th in the nation in per pupil spending. What we found was inspiring & surprising. But with more cuts coming will that be enough?
